Barcelona took control of their Champions League opener against Feyenoord almost immediately on Wednesday, racing into a 2-0 half-time lead at a rain-soaked Spotify Camp Nou.
Raphinha struck first in the third minute before Karim Adeyemi added another in the 22nd, giving Hansi Flick’s side a comfortable advantage heading into the break.

Raphinha Strikes After Three Minutes
Barcelona could hardly have asked for a better start.
Lamine Yamal helped create the opening, finding Raphinha in a dangerous position inside the penalty area. The Brazilian worked his way past two defenders before finishing with his left foot.

Feyenoord started Tjark Ernst in goal, with Givairo Read, Jeremiah St. Juste, Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Marmol in defence.
Further forward, Hadj Moussa, Nacho Ferri and Javi López were among the players tasked with trying to trouble Barcelona.
They did not have many opportunities to do that in the opening half.
A Strong Start to Barcelona’s European Campaign
This is Barcelona’s first match in the 2026-27 Champions League league phase.
The competition now uses one combined 36-team table rather than the old group-stage format, meaning every result can matter when the standings begin to take shape.
Barcelona entered Europe in good form.
